Jump Start in the Bronx

A dead battery can leave you stuck in a parking spot, a garage or on the street. Bronx Towing Express sends a driver for a jump start 24/7 from 1458 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY. Call (646) 846-0602.

Signs your battery is dead or weak

• You hear clicking, or nothing at all, when you turn the key or press start.
• The engine cranks slowly before it starts.
• Dash lights or headlights are dim or flicker.
• A battery warning light comes on while driving.

Why batteries fail in Bronx winters

Cold weather slows the chemical reaction inside a battery, so it has less power just when the engine needs more to start. Cars parked on the street overnight, short trips that never fully recharge the battery, and older batteries are the most likely to fail on a cold morning. Lights or chargers left on overnight can also drain it.

What our driver does on arrival

1. Checks the area is safe to work and parks the truck to give room.
2. Looks at the battery and cables for damage, leaks or loose connections.
3. Connects the jump equipment in the right order and starts the car.
4. Lets you know if it starts and suggests getting the battery and charging system checked.

When a jump won't fix it

If the car still won't start, or dies again soon after, the problem may be the starter, the alternator or a battery that can no longer hold a charge. We can tow the car to a shop of your choice. A flatbed tow is an option for cars that should not be towed on their wheels. For other help like a flat tire or running out of gas, see our roadside assistance page.
